While there are so many incredibly talented artists that present at the Cherry Creek Art Festival, today we are going to highlight a few that we are really excited to visit this year with curating art for interiors in mind.

It was hard to narrow this list down to a digestible list, but our intention is to get you all excited and out to the festival this weekend. We recognize that these artists may not speak to you, but we are excited to hear about the ones who do, and we hope to see you there!  Here is a link to all presenting artists.

Joseph Bradley - Based out of South Carolina, his artwork is rich in technique, layers and color. From the graphite pencil lines to the rich gold leafing we love how he depicts nature in his paintings.

Dolan Geiman - Based out of Colorado, an incredible contemporary collage artist. His artwork is typically made out of paper and metal. This is a fun booth to stop by because every year it changes a little from the handmade frames to large sculptural animal busts.

Signe & Genna Grushovenko - Based out of South Carolina, this husband and wife team uses oil and linen as a medium to recreate scenes found in midcentury modern photos they have collected. From the neon colors to the oil underlay technique, it's hard to not smile when looking at their artwork.

Rick Abrams - Based out of Florida, creates mixed media pieces using painting techniques on layered surfaces. His pieces are playful in color and imagery. And the way he floats the top layer of acrylic glass draws us in for a closer look.

Daryl Thetford - Based out of Tennessee, uses multiple photographs to create one digital modern art image which he then turns into a one-of-a-kind mixed media collage. The main image in the photo stands out even after this layering process is completed.

James Randle - Based out of Arizona, uses oil on canvas to paint urban settings. We could spend a lot of time in this booth admiring the detail that goes into each piece. When you look at the pieces there is depth and motion that immerses you into the moment created.

Ella Richards - Based out of New York, creates "scissor drawings" by removing images she has drawn onto black paper in a single cutting and gluing them onto watercolor paper. The drawings come across minimalist even though I can't imagine the patience on cutting out all of those intricate details.

Paige Whitcomb - Based out of Missouri, stages fictional scenes and photographs them with the tintype method. Some of our favorite pieces are from her "memories collection". They show the subject at a shorter exposure, so they appear almost ghostly.

Brianna Martray - Based out of Colorado, creates layers and dimension using graphite, charcoal, ink and pigment on wood. Her pieces have beautiful movement and energy.

Angelika Ejtel - Based out of Texas and originally from Poland, uses herself as a subject to create photographic imagery based on the poetry of Halina Poswiatowska.

Ed Pribyl - Based out of Illinois, creates original wood sculptures that reflect moments from the past. While they are all statement pieces some of our favorites use hidden mounting brackets to create a realistic scene. As he says, "Art that your neighbors won't have".

Linda Lewis - Based out of Iowa, she uses clay to create sculptures of ordinary people living life, from small observed moments to internal search for purpose and identity. Each piece has a different story and we loved learning more about the meaning behind the "line down the middle". Check out her website or stop by her booth to learn more about her pieces.

Erica Iman - Based out of Missouri, she a painter and sculptor who uses nature as inspiration to create pieces with organic shape and texture.
