At Teak + Amber we love creating modern homes that are comfortable for daily life and inspire wellbeing for our clients.
We are a residential design firm located in the Colorado Front Range offering a range of services from full design, consultation, and the in-between concept service. Specializing in kitchen, bath and full remodeling.
Our goal is to help you make your house feel like your home... elevated.
I have always been drawn to transforming spaces, making each one unique with layers of texture, bringing forward a unique piece of art, light or furniture into the room for character. I love to collaborate with artists and local contractors to create beautiful spaces.
I transitioned my career into residential design leaving behind a successful career in the financial industry. After years of late nights completing online school and designing for a builder / design firm, I followed my passion into a full-time design career and never looked back.

Creating memories with my family, watching my kiddos grow into the cool kids they have become, wandering galleries with my husband, discovering new restaurants, and catching up over backyard barbeques with family and friends.
FOUNDEr, lead:
My passion for design began when I was a little girl living with my dad. He allowed me to help make decisions on how our home was decorated. My love for making a house feel like a home grew from there.
I studied interior design at Colorado State University. After completing my degree, I began managing design and remodel projects for a property management company. I then gained my real estate license which has allowed me the opportunity to remodel and design my own properties. I offer both real estate and design services to our clientele.

This topic comes up with almost every new prospect client. They want to know what our design style is to see if it will work for their home. Although our favorite part of our job is the process of learning who you are and creating a design for your unique style. Our website and social media showcase our projects which is a mixture of our clients styles. It keeps our job interesting as we create new spaces and is very rewarding to hear our clients response when we nail their style.
So to answer the question of what our style is... we both have similarities although they are both unique and do not fit within one box. Our styles overlap with a love for texture, layers, mixed wood tones, organic materials, a comfortable but modern edge. Brooke takes a lot of inspiration from nature, she loves organic shapes, creates a base of natural layers and allows bold artwork take the spotlight. Danielle's style is more minimalistic, she loves bold graphic shapes and forums, patterns, pops of muted colors, and highlights statement pieces such as furniture and lighting fixtures.
